Meet the Doctor

Dr. Richard W. Andreasen (Dr. “A” to our patients) is the Owner and Director of the Andreasen Chiropractic & Wellness Center.

He graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport, Iowa in 1997.  Palmer College was the first Chiropractic college in the world, and was where Chiropractic was born.

Upon graduation, Dr. Andreasen, his wife Lisa and their then four children moved to Gilbert, Arizona.  There are now 7 Andreasen children, sons and daughters-in-law, and 5 (soon to be 7 grandchildren)!

Dr. A worked at Emergency Chiropractic here in the Valley, where he was the director of the Mesa Office. He spent more than ten years caring for literally thousands of patients who had been injured in automobile or work-related injuries. In the summer of 2007, he left Emergency Chiropractic to open Andreasen Chiropractic & Wellness Center to serve not only victims of accidents, but also to practice family and wellness care.

Dr. A is fluent in Spanish, having served a mission in Uruguay and Argentina. He also studied in Puebla, Mexico at La Universidad Autonoma de Puebla, and has just completed a Master’s Degree in Spanish from Idaho State University.

He loves helping his patients reach their optimal health and will enjoy working with you to meet your health goals.
