Meet the Doctor

Dr. Richard W. Andreasen (Dr. “A” to our patients) is the Owner and Director of the Andreasen Chiropractic & Wellness Center.

He graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport, Iowa in 1997.  Palmer College was the first Chiropractic college in the world, and was where Chiropractic was born.

Upon graduation, Dr. Andreasen, his wife Lisa and their then four children moved to Gilbert, Arizona.  There are now 7 Andreasen children (8 if you include their daughter-in-law!), and the Andreasens have settled in Queen Creek.

Dr. A worked at Emergency Chiropractic here in the Valley, where he was the director of the Mesa Office. He spent more than ten years caring for literally thousands of patients who had been injured in automobile or work-related injuries. In the summer of 2007, he left Emergency Chiropractic to open Andreasen Chiropractic & Wellness Center to serve not only victims of accidents, but also to practice family and wellness care.

MC6_a_cappellaDr. A has always enjoyed performing music on stage and in concert, and is currently signing with the A Capella group MC6.

He is fluent in Spanish, having served a mission in Uruguay and Argentina. He also studied in Puebla, Mexico at La Universidad Autonoma de Puebla.

Dr. Andreasen is active in his church and enjoys working with the Boy Scouts of America.  In fact, Andreasen Chiropractic and Wellness Center sponsors the first all-girls BSA Venturing Crew in the state!
